Wells Fargo needed to launch new consumer credit cards in a highly saturated market where differentiation through traditional features alone was insufficient. The challenge was to create digital channels and online banking capabilities that would make these new credit card offerings compelling and competitive.
Collaborated closely with engineering, design, compliance, and marketing teams to ensure the digital experience was both innovative and regulatory-compliant. Implemented iterative development cycles to rapidly test and refine features based on customer feedback and usage data. The digital rewards hub drove a 22% increase in reward redemption rates, directly contributing to stronger customer acquisition and retention metrics across all three card products.
Led the end-to-end product development of digital channels and online banking platforms for Wells Fargo's new credit card portfolio. This included working with vendors and stake holders across the enterprise launching intuitive card management interfaces, building a comprehensive digital rewards hub where customers could track and redeem points in real-time, and streamlining the digital card activation process.
