| The Challenge

Prudential Retirement needed to modernize its client portals to support scalability, security, and evolving client expectations. The existing portals were built on legacy infrastructure, limiting performance, slowing delivery, and making it difficult to introduce new capabilities.

At the same time, the organization was undertaking a broader shift to cloud-based architecture and SAFe Agile delivery, requiring coordinated execution across multiple SCRUM teams, strict compliance requirements, and minimal disruption to existing clients.

| The Approach

As the SAFe Agile Product Owner, I led product delivery across three SCRUM teams, aligning business objectives, technology strategy, and agile execution.

My approach included:

• Defining and owning the product vision, backlog, and priorities across multiple teams

• Translating business and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable epics, features, and user stories

• Partnering with architecture and engineering to support a phased migration to the cloud

• Coordinating dependencies and release planning within a SAFe framework

• Ensuring continuous stakeholder alignment across business, compliance, and technology

• Driving incremental delivery to reduce risk while maintaining platform stability

This approach balanced speed, quality, and compliance while enabling teams to deliver meaningful progress each increment.
